Red, White & Blue Recap

The Red, White and Blue weekend event, April 28th-20th, was a full weekend of baseball and activities in support of the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team. We kicked off the weekend with a Welcome to Lubbock meet and greet with team members hosted by River Smiths Chicken & Catfish along with Mayor Glenn Robertson and WWAST Executive Director David Wince followed by the first double header game on Friday. Saturday morning was the Pride Ride with the team and Mayor Robertson leading the bike ride from Family Power Sports ending at the Blue Ribbon Rally. Then another doubleheader featuring the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team. Cloud 9 thanks everyone in attendence for their support along with the event sponsors.
